In 2008 Bill and Tiffany Brent started the Light Theater Company for their daughter and her friends to have a chance to experience the theater. Bill has a degree in Dramatic Arts with a focus in Costume Design and Construction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Brent's goal is to create and environment where kids can enjoy the theater while glorifying Christ.
Fast forward to 2016 and four shows later, we are excited to continue the tradition of producing shows that glorify Christ. The Light Theater Company is dedicated to bringing a quality, theater experience to homeschool teens in the Concord area. We do this through a summer long, hands on course touching on all the aspects of the theater that leads to a fully realized performance

Less than half the cost of a Summer Session production comes from tickets sales and student fees. To keep prices low and production standards high, the theater relies heavily on the support of individual donors. Your tax-deductible contribution can make a difference. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit group dedicated to providing a quality theater experience to Concord teens in a Christian environment, through the production of full length plays.
